As the purse is emptied, the heart is filled...

I love quirky finds. These top quirky I think? This is what I get up too when it gets to 3pm in the office and the work runs dry. This is also the typical sign of payday looming...

Wishlist #2

Wishlist #2

I really got into the swing of not doing any work last week and searching for all the things I wanted and yet, still could not afford because I'm still buying organic soups I just don't need (but I do need and carrot and parnsip, it's well nice). With Valentines day coming up and my single ass still single, I may have to purchase something of this list that my future boyfriend would totally buy me.

1.  I'm still in that stage of life where I consider M&S expensive, to be honest even Primark is expensive, but when I go in M&S it's usually for christmas food or I just got paid. I saw this bag in look magazine and have seen it in store a few times, I think I'll get this because I'll look classy as f- and if I cut back on the excessive make up wipe buying, this will soon be mine.

2. I always think saying you love collecting vinyl records is such an 'indie/hipster' thing to do, but after actually receiving a record player as a gift I decided it was time to get in on the action. I love the movie Juno and the soundtrack is incredibly good. It features Cat Power, Moldy Peaches, The Kinks and Ellen Page and Michael Cera perform as well. Literally, music to my ears.

3 I work about 10 minutes from The Hummingbird Bakery in Spitalfields and it's honestly one of the hardest things, to not be able to go there everyday and order up, you know, everything. The cakes are amazing and what's better is that on Fridays, even you retweet 'treat a friend friday' you get a free red velvet cupcake with anything you purchase - Win. I own all the previous hummingbird cookbooks and the recipe is exact and there are so many good bakes to choose from.

4 Another ASOS nightwear find! ASOS are really stepping up their game with nightwear, and I can vouch that their pieces are super comfy. This one has sweets imprinted all over it, yes top to bottom, and who wouldn't want that?

5. Hooray for Tatty Devine and the marvellous designs they produce. They have necklaces to earrings, broaches to personalised stuff. This is one of my faves on the website, swallow earrings. They look so nice and pretty and you'd for sure stand out wearing these.

6. THIS. I'm currently anti-valentines because you know I'm single and have been and will be - how cliche does this sound for a boyfriend-less 20 year old? I wanna buy this card and send it to myself on the 14th, because as my mother says 'I CAN AND I WILL' - she also once said, 'drink a lot of gin and just see who becomes the most attractive first'. Wise woman.

7. All hail benefit for another amazing looking mascara in which I really want it and will beg to have it in my collection. I've been using they're real mascara for the past year and I have basically have Liz Taylor eyes (sort of...). The design of this product looks fab and I've read a lot of reviews about how you don't use a lot and basically become a mascara model and get married and have loads of kids once you put it on*

Wishlist Wednesday #1

I've seen these wishlists popping up on quite a few blogs recently, and I have to admit I love them! I find stuff myself on blogs that I would never have seen any other time because I'm always stuck to an office chair. This is my first of many I hope!

1.  I love these Pyjamas. I spend the rest of my life in nightwear, so if it's bright and displays prehistoric animals - I'm down. My theory is, if there's a fire in the middle of the night, when I get pictured in the daily mail for rescuing everyone, I'll be wearing a great pair of pj's. What a messed up theory. - ASOS , £24

2. I'm kind of obsessed with iPhone cases. I succumbed to getting the Moschino fries, one with french pastries on and another with hamburgers. For the shits and giggles, obviously. This however! Yes, you may have to wait almost 6 years for it to arrive but I think this would be hella worth it. - eBay, £4.99

3.  I'm really not a 'sexy underwear' kinda girl. I tried to be all up in that but it was uncomfortably tight and apart from the rare occasion when I splashed out on a pair of frilly knickers, I usually just kick back in boypants. Topshop have a great 3 for £10 offer on, so I'll be buying as much as possible. You gotta keep the bum comfy, just saying. - Topshop, 3 for £10 or £4.00

4.  I'm a scarf fan. Scarfs are good for covering things. Like rum and coke stains on your shirt from a boozy lunch. I recently discovered lalaland, and there one of those shops where you think 'Should I buy this?/Do I actually need it? - in this case, I do. - Lalaland, £15

5.  BITCHES GET STUFF DONE. Sound familiar? Tina Fey implied this on Saturday Night Live way back when and boy was she right. If you're a bitch, you do totally get stuff done, especially when you're a stone cold one. Sure, a little pricey for a broach, but wear your bitch'ness with pride. - Lalaland, £9.00

6.  I wouldn't usually pay over £10 for a case for my cracked ipad (I dropped it on my foot), but I really want this. It's bright, it has googly eyes and has popcorn on it, need I say more? - Topshop, £18.00

7. I ask daily, 'What would Beyonce do?'. Beyonce would wear these, she's a queen - duh. I am a huge Bey fan and the idea of pretending to act cool with these on my nails, suits me just fine. - Etsy, £4.73

Till next week!
